Yearned-for: Benguet solar grandmas

THE Diwata team is focusing on IP individuals to become solar engineers.

Diwata director Patricia Bunye said the venture has so far sent seven grandmums from Tarlac to India to tone your abs and now help light up their website.

Bunye said the success of the flier area in Tarlac has circulated Diwata to look for more communities to the Cordilleras to send a second batch of females to become solar engineers.

"We typically coordinating with Midge De Leon of Benguet Corporation and the Domain of Benguet to look for more outdoor areas, " she revealed.

Bunye believed the project is in cooperation having school called The Barefoot College through India, which subsidizes the cost during sending the women to their country combined with train them to be knowledgeable to the set up for solar panels to enable them to reveal this in their respective communities.
